Adam Reyer (Founder and Managing Director)

Adam has over 15 years of experience developing digital and mobile media-based businesses for pioneering consumer brands, such as XM Satellite Radio, Discovery Communications and AOL.  Throughout his career, Adam has worked at the forefront of digital media/technology – from the early days of web content publishing to streaming audio and video and, most recently, social networking and mobile applications and services.

As SVP of Business Development for XM Satellite Radio, Adam developed and launched the XM Radio Mobile subscription audio application in partnership with AT&T Wireless (then Cingular) and Alltel (subsequently acquired by Verizon Wireless).  The app garnered hundreds of thousands of paying subscribers and spawned an off-deck Blackberry app (with promotional support from R.I.M.) and the Sirius XM iPhone app.  Adam also developed the business plan and led strategic partnership discussions with leading cable/telecom companies to develop a new XM digital mobile broadcast service using WCS wireless spectrum held by each party.

Adam, previously, served in various digital media business development and operational roles for Discovery Communications.  He consummated various web content and distribution deals, while there, with partners such as MSN, AOL, and Johns Hopkins Intelihealth, and expanded Discovery’s education business by acquiring the leading streaming video service provider in the K-12 market.  Adam also helped lead Discovery’s broadband and wireless video distribution efforts and to develop Discovery’s video-on-demand and HDTV services.

After spending several years in the real estate asset management/investment advisory field, Adam began his digital media career as an on-site strategic consultant to AOL during its early hyper-growth phase (1995-1998), where he focused on the planned spinoff of select AOL online content assets.

Adam holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
